If you're planning to buy a diaper bag, choose one that fits your lifestyle (materials and colors), the way you carry it (backpack, shoulder bag), and most importantly, invest in a high-quality model. As an object that is very frequently used, you will want it to retain its qualities and appearance for as long as possible.

Mom's bag The bag should contain a few essential items so that walks or visits to the doctor go smoothly and without incidents.
So, what shouldn't be missing from your bag?
Diapers. We didn't even need to mention them, it's understood that they are necessary. They can be stored in a special pocket, the same one each time, so changing them goes as smoothly as possible. Along with them you can take a special blanket or a cloth on which to change the baby's diaper, and a biodegradable bag in which to put used diapers.
Products for hygiene. Wet and dry wipes, insect repellent spray, sun protection cream, disinfectant solution, etc. All of these will be helpful both for the mother and the child. Also, a small medical kit with the strict necessary (a few band-aids, gel for bruises and bites, for older children some medications as needed)

Bottle and pacifier. It would be ideal for the bottle to be placed in a thermal pouch or a thermal pocket (there are bags for mothers that have one). Later, the same will be done with food or snacks, so they can stay fresh.
The favorite toy. We know it sounds strange that this receives so much importance, but very often it can bring so many benefits that it deserves all the space it occupies in the bag. It may be either the best friend of the baby, or an object without which he cannot fall asleep, or what brings him calmness and a sense of familiarity when he is outside, surrounded by a multitude of unknown things.

Clothing items. Depending on the season and the occasion, it may be about t-shirts and leggings or a thicker jacket or a fleece blanket.
Don't forget to take a bottle of water, a snack, lip balm, and anything else you consider essential for yourself. Besides clothes, the rest can stay in the diaper bag, but don't forget to fill out where you used it and check the expiration date of the care products.

We also want to mention that a larger bag is not necessarily better! The more voluminous it is, the more you will be tempted to fill it with various things, so we recommend thinking very carefully about your family's needs and buying accordingly.
